Active Devon / Cycling in Devon / Cycle Exeter
Cycling is a great way to get around Exeter and there are many routes around the city which give cyclists the opportunity to visit parks, the Quayside, historic buildings and other attractions.
There are cycle paths all along the River Exe through Exeter with plenty of interesting places to see along the way.
After a hard day's cycling you may be in need of some refreshment. Exeter has lots of cafes, bars and restaurants conveniently located along many of the popular routes. For example, the Double Locks Inn and the Turf Locks pub are easliy accessible on our new traffic free cycle path.
Work is in progress to provide routes along either side of the Exe Estuary, providing a mainly traffic free commuter route between Exeter, Exmouth and Dawlish.
If you plan to be in Exeter for some time ,why not take advantage of Cycle Exeter's cycling sessions?
