Coast or country, moorland or canal, straight line or circle, there is a wonderful abundance of rides to suit all moods in Devon. We've found a few great routes as tasters to get you hooked!
Try the Granite Way from Okehampton to Lydford, passing the spectacular Meldon Viaduct with its amazing views. Cycle quiet lanes on the Halwill to Ashwater loop in Ruby Country to enjoy deepest rural Devon. Honiton's circular route gives you ancient woodlands, hedgerows, charming cottages and churches, all part of the lovely landscapes of the Blackdown Hills.
If water lures you on, ride along the Grand Western Canal or down Exeter's estuary to Turf lock. Follow the Exmouth to Budleigh Salterton trail for delightful coast, packed with interest. On the Bere Peninsular you'll see stunning scenery and the estuary is a fantastic haven for wildlife.
There are routes of every length, from 3 miles up to 25 or more. Often though, you have the option of shortening longer routes if your legs give out too soon!
