Located on the finest beaches, Devon's surf instructors will give you a first taster or hone your skills. If you are beginner, expect to go through the safety routines before you venture into the water. You'll start off standing in shallow water to give you every confidence before you move out to greater things.

More advanced sessions might begin with a half-day indoors, studying moves and wave judgment, before trying them out for real. For the truly serious surfer, competition training is a great way to take you to another level.

Expect small groups - six surfers max - so you'll have personal attention from the instructor. Devon Surf Schools generally include hire of all the gear you need in the course fee - or you can buy from their shop.
