Nearest major road is A361. Leave the A361 at the Barnstaple Island. Follow eastern avenue till you come to the inner relief road. Turn right and follow inner relief road around to the strand where the Heritage Centre can be found in the building on your right.
Nearest station is Barnstaple. From the station go down Station Road and turn right. Cross long bridge, turn left. Follow the riverside for approximately 400 yards. The Heritage Centre can be found in the Queen Anne building next to the riverside.
