Appledore book festival has a mission to be the most innovative and friendly of them all. For nine days our aim is to transform a beautiful North Devon fishing village into a magical place where famous authors will rub shoulders with dead authors and wit and wisdom rule the roost …
Meanwhile every detail has been planned, every author briefed, every talk carefully rehearsed and all that’s missing is the most important element: an enthusiastic and happy audience - and that is where you come in. Road Directions
From M5 Junction 27 head towards Barnstaple on the A361. At Barnstaple follow signs for Bideford (A39). Take the third exit at the roundabout over Bideford Bridge, then follow the signs for Appledore. St. Mary's Hall is an old school building clearly visible from the road and from the large Churchfield Car Park beside the river.
