Ashburton Cookery School offers a fresh approach to cookery with exciting cookery courses that emphasise hands-on involvement, top quality Devon produce and inspirational teaching.

All our cookery courses are based around fundamental cookery techniques and methods - we'll teach you how to produce your own fabulous food at home or at work and make sure you get a chance to enjoy your creations over lunch and at regular tastings throughout the day.

Road Directions

By Car
From Exeter
Travelling from Exeter direction down the M5 continue as the road becomes the A38 and as the dual carriageway divides, take the Plymouth road. Continue past Newton Abbot until you see the sign for Ashburton (Linhay turn off). Continue into the town along Eastern Road, past the Catholic Church on the left and war memorial - we are in the row of Georgian buildings in East Street.

By Car
From Plymouth
From Plymouth direction travelling on the A38 take the second signposted turning to Ashburton after Buckfastleigh and follow the instructions above.

Public Transport Directions

By Train
The nearest station is Newton Abbot; services stop there from London Paddington, Penzance, and stations such as Carlisle, Birmingham New Street etc. We can organise collection and return for groups, otherwise there is a taxi rank outside the station (cost is around £11 and takes 15-20 Minutes). Buses run to Ashburton from Plymouth, Exeter and Newton Abbot.
