We run a small family farm near the picturesque town of Bampton in Devon, the heart of the West-Country.Our family have been farming for three generations in which time we have built up a vast knowledge of beef production, in fact we don't do anything else on our farm but produce beef. We give our cattle the highest welfare standards possible from the moment they are born. They live their lives naturally, staying with their mothers for up to half of their lives. They are fed mainly on grass topped up with home grown cereals to give them a balanced, nutritious and natural diet. Pictured above is 'Harriet' an Aberdeen Angus breeding cow with her calf, sired by our own bred Charolais bull 'Fred'. When the cattle are in prime condition they are taken to a local, modern, abattoir where the sides of beef are hung for at least three weeks. This process coupled with the first class animal that we produce is what gives our customers the high quality beef of which we are so proud.
