We moved to Lower Minchingdown Farm in 2006 with the aim of setting up a mixed small farm, with an emphasis on the taste and quality of the produce. To do this we are keeping a range of traditional and rare breed animals. At the moment we keep Greyface Dartmoor sheep, Gloucestershire Old Spots pigs, various breeds of chickens and geese and some young Aberdeen Angus x Friesian calves.

We run the farm along organic principles. We are signed up with the Soil Association and are going through their organic converstion process - our first certified organic produce should be available in Summer 2008
