The award winning Venus Café at East Portlemouth overlooks the village’s stunning beaches and across to the town of Salcombe on the opposite side of the estuary. Using organic and regionally sourced products wherever possible, Venus offers an unrivalled al fresco Mediterranean dining experience in a truly stunning location.
The Venus Café serves a tasty, all day menu – every day. We offer a great choice of delicious homemade food from meals to drinks and ice cream. Home of the famous children’s meal box – The Dolphin Box – with healthy and organic food and a free marine activity book.
The full menu is available from Easter to end October. We also have vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options available on the menu.
The Venus Café is a short passenger ferry ride from Salcombe. The three beautiful sandy beaches at Fisherman’s Cove, Millbay and Small’s Cove provide a great family day out with plenty of paddling, golden sand for sandcastles, rock pools and safe swimming.

Road Directions
Take the A379 to Stokenham. Follow the signs for East Portlemouth at the mini roundabout.
Limited parking at Millbay National Trust Car Park. Alternatively park in Salcombe and take the passenger ferry (2 minute ride).
