As Gold Award winners in the Green Business Scheme we are passionate about local food and drink.

So our cosy 4 star self catering cottages give you the opportuity to buy and cook wonderful local produce from local places like the Stokely Farm shop which stocks most things like meat, fish, dairy, bread, deli etc all locally sourced.

Alternatively you can dine out in a number of fantastic pubs and restaurants serving the very best of local produce.

If you are cooking for yourself then the added bonus is that all our cottages have dishwashers as well as other unexpected extras like fridge/freezers, ensuites etc.

Relax in our award winning, fully equipped Victorian barn cottages, located in a peaceful, rural valley in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty near stunning beaches and the famous South West Coastal Path. With the spectacular heritage coastline, numerous historic towns, like Dartmouth, Totnes and Plymouth all within easy reach, Beeson farm is the ideal base from which to explore South Devon and Cornwall.

Recently and sensitively converted from pink stone barns, the interiors are brimming with rural charm and rustic character, having old timbers, natural slate and exposed stonework. We offer a real 'home from home' atmosphere; four posters; log burners; disabled access; function room; wildlife ponds; a small nature reserve and a 25% discount on golf and leisure facilities at the Dartmouth Golf and Country Club.

In 2004 we achieved the prestigious South Hams Gold Award for Green Tourism and we encourage visitors to recycle their waste, conserve energy and enjoy the beautiful countryside and coastline by providing information packs.

Road Directions

From M5
Take A38 Exeter to Plymouth. Turn left at Buckfastleigh for Totnes (A384). At Totnes, turn right at the traffic lights for Kingsbridge (A381). On reaching Kingsbridge, take the A379 Dartmouth road to Stokenham. At roundabout, turn right and follow this road for 1.5 miles until reaching a left hand turning to Beeson/Beesands. On reaching Beeson, the road forks, take right turn signed 'Beeson Farm'. Pass barns on left and the main drive can be found on the left after farmhouse.

Public Transport Directions

From Totnes station
Bus to Kingsbridge, then take the Dartmouth-bound bus, alighting at Stokenham. It is then a two mile walk, or we are happy to collect you from the bus stop in Stokenham (please telephone to notify us of your arrival).
