South Hams Local Food and Drink Association
The South Hams is a food lover's paradise, with a wide variety of fresh locally produced food and drink. You can
tickle your taste buds with succulent freshly-caught seafood, light fruity local wines, organic apple juice, delectable cheeses, warming liqueurs, dairy ice cream and scrumptious clotted cream. Feast on locally smoked chicken and fish, moorland venison and locally farmed lamb, pork and beef. There are famous organic vegetable box schemes, local bakeries, natural spring water and cider too.
Many local hotels, restaurants, pubs and cafes pride themselves on serving locally produced food wherever possible. The South Hams Food and Drink Association produce a directory of producers and suppliers and this can be found on the South Hams Food and Drink Association website. development of the Food and Drink industry throughout the South West - from Gloucestershire and Somerset through to Wiltshire, Dorset, Devon and Cornwall.
