From A 38 - At Ashburton you will see signs to Kingsbridge (via Totnes). You can take this route or a more direct route is to go on a further 7 miles along the A38 to Wrangaton Cross (exit marked park & ride for Plymouth). Follow the sign left to Loddiswell (A3121).
In one and a half miles you come to a crossroads - go straight across (ignore the Kingsbridge sign to the right) the road becomes the B3196 going towards Loddiswell. Pass through California Cross and turn left just after the petrol station along the road signed for Loddiswell and Kingsbridge. Continue through Loddiswell (3 miles) and go on to Kingsbridge (another 3miles).
At a crossroads it indicates Kingsbridge light vehicles only. Go straight on (if applicable!) and follow the road to Kingsbridge town.
Leave the town on the A381 going towards Salcombe.
After the roundabout, take the third road on the left going up the hill where the road narrows. You will see a brown Ashleigh House sign indicating to turn down Ashleigh Rd, the guesthouse is at the end of the road on the left.
(If you arrive in West Alvington you have gone too far - turn round and take either Balkwill or Ashleigh Roads on the right).
From Totnes Railway Station
Buses run directly from the railway station to Kingsbridge Quay.
