Home / Devon Accommodation / Beechlands Holiday Cottages
Beechlands is just half a mile from Chagford, in lovely rolling countryside right on the edge of the Moor. Beautifully designed and renovated, the cottages were created from stable conversions, so front on to the original farm courtyard. Suitable all ages.
Chagford is the ideal central base for exploring Dartmoor. It is a thriving community, with something for everyone and every possible shop or service, including several pubs and restaurants/bistrocs. Beechlands Farm comprises 26 acres of rolling countryside, right on the side of the Moor, ensuring easy access to walking, riding, cycling, fishing etc. but just half a mile outside the hustle and bustle of the small town.
Horses, ponies, sheep, ducks add to the 'living' feel of the farm. Two lovely cottages created from the original Victorian stableyard, offer accommodation for either six or two people. 'The Granary' has two double rooms (one en suite) and a twin bunk bedded room. 'The Tackery' has a double bedroom. Both are central heated, double glazed, fully equipped and decorated to a high standard. The Tackery is all on ground floor level, suitable for those with limited mobility. The Stanton family guaranteed a warm welcome to guests of all ages.
