Blagdon Farm consists of 8 south-facing 4 and 5 star luxury cottages. Purpose-built to be fully accessible and winner of the South West Excellence Awards, Blagdon Farm is situated in the heart of unspoiled Devon, yet only 20 minutes from Bude. All cottages are rated M3(A) with one cottage M3(I).
The cottages are exceptionally well equipped with washing machine, teletext tv, cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave and comprehensive range of kitchen equipment. In addition the 5 star cottages have a dishwasher, tumble dryer, video player, draped or four-poster bed and remote-controlled colour television in the master bedroom.
All cottages have double patio doors opening onto their own south-facing timber-decked patio with stunning views over the lake and forest beyond. The two bedroom cottages also have patio doors in the master bedroom opening onto the balcony. All cottages have an adjacent level parking space and sensor lighting, are fully double-glazed and have gas-fired central heating.
The indoor swimming pool is heated to 90of at all times, has a hydrotherapy unit, wide steps for easy access and an electric track hoist. The changing-rooms are wheelchair accessible and have changing benches, lockers and showers.
Adjacent to the pool is the licensed bistro, serving eat-in or take-away meals. Both pool and bar have doors opening onto a large south-facing balcony providing the opportunity to sunbathe or enjoy the beautiful countryside views at a table whilst enjoying a meal and glass of wine.
For anglers, the lake is well stocked with many varieties of coarse fish. The outdoor adventure playground has disabled facilities along with swings, climbing frame and a play Post Office whilst the games room is equipped with pool, table tennis and games machines. There is also a nature trail, woodlands, orchard and fields, offering everyone the opportunity to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of its 12-acre setting.
Blagdon Farm is 1.5 miles from Ashwater village with its post office, traditional Inn and Church. Although no longer a working farm, it is home to abundant wildlife including many types of birds, our own duck family and chickens.

Leave the M5 motorway at Junction 31 and take the A30 towards Okehampton until the Launceston turning. Pass through Launceston taking the A388 to Holsworthy. Continue on for about 6 miles, passing through St Giles on the Heath and Chapman's Well. Do not turn at the first signpost to Ashwater but take the next right, on the elbow of a sharp left hand bend, at the "Blagdon Manor 1 mile" & "Blagdon Farm" sign, which is a brown tourist information sign with a sign to Ashwater & Halwill. After half a mile turn right again at Blagdon Lodge and you will find us 300yds further on this road on the right.
