Churchwood Valley is a haven of peace in an environmental paradise. Set in a beautiful natural wooded valley - where badgers, birds, squirrels and foxes abound - our comfortable and well-equipped cabins have their own private patios where you can while away the hours or enjoy a family barbeque. We encourage our guests to enjoy the wildlife while preserving the natural environment.

The cabins are a short stroll from nearby Wembury beach, unspoilt and a marine conservation area. We have 56 cabins and lodges for hire and we continue to let a cottage with wonderful sea views in the nearby coastal village of Heybrook Bay. There are wonderful coastal and countryside walks, with spectacular views, leading to either Plymouth Sound or the Yealm Estuary. It's a short drive to Dartmoor, picturesque maritime towns such as Dartmouth and Salcombe, and the delightful villages and small towns of the South Hams. And an hour or so away are Cornish delights such as the Eden Project and Padstow.

Road Directions

A379 to Elburton Hotel,turn right at roundabout into Elburton Village, turn left at traffic lights into Reservoir Road then follow signs to Langdon Court Hotel. Drive past entrance to hotel, then follow signs to Churchwood Valley.

Public Transport Directions

From Plymouth - 7 miles
A taxi is the most suitable but there is a bus station with services to both Wembury Village and Wembury Point; it is quite a long walk from the railway station to the bus and coach station and from Wembury Village to Churchwood.
