In the heart of glorious Devon with beautiful 6 mile panoramic views of Dartmoor, idyllic country cottages with wonderful charm and ambience in a quiet and peaceful setting. Daisy and Clover Cottages (2 Stars) are in the region of 300 years old with original exposed beams and cosy log fires, both sleep up to 6 and pets permitted. 4 Star Meadow-Sweet is a newly restored detached cottage and everything is new but still retains the country cottage feel, sleeps 4 and no pets permitted.

Outstanding location on the Tarka Trail and Cycleway 27. Devon Coast to Coast. Plus on the fringe of Abbeyford Woods, a Forestry Commission plantation of 378 acres, abundant with many different kinds of birds, red and roe deer, squirrels, badgers, foxes etc.

Superb base to enjoy Devon, only 1 mile from Okehampton. All kinds of lovely places to visit, Dartmoor, north and south coasts, gardens, castles, children's attractions and many sport activities close by.

Road Directions

From the A30 road take the B3260 into Okehampton. Then take the Exbourne road the B3217. On the outskirts of Okehampton at Knowle Cross turn left signposted to Hook. This road bridges the river Okement then goes uphill. The cottages are half a mile from the bridge, on the right and West Hook Farm is on top of the hill on the left.
