Harton Farm
"Discovering Devon Naturally" is easy at Harton Farm where food is the focus. Our comfortable old farmhouse is hidden away at the end of a lane off the B3227 on the edge of Exmoor.
You can enjoy the changing seasons as summer flowers follow bluebells, orchids and primroses. Then you can sit on the bench at the end of our farm walk and watch the sun go down in the company of owls and red deer, or peep from the purpose-built mobile hide to see if the badgers come out foraging, or even check whether your bird-spotting abilities match those of the RSPB surveyor. Further afield, we offer excellent advice on moorland or village walking routes, and will help your plan your itinerary.
Having started the day with a hearty breakfast, you're welcome to return to a solar-heated hot bath, and to a supper of home grown and additive free meat and vegetables. On our traditional farm, with lots of friendly animals, we take pride in real food and genuine hospitality.
Children and dogs welcome. One family, one twin room, both with tea trays. Evening meal £10. Open April to end of October.

Road Directions
From Junc. 27 on the M5, take the A361 towards Barnstaple. After 7, turn right at the first big roundabout and take the A396 northwards towards Minehead. Bear left (towards South Molton) at the Exeter Inn, and again at the Black Cat garage/cafe. The lane for Harton Farm is 2 miles uo the hill from the bridge over the River Exe, on the right hand side, off the B3227.
