The Farm is situated in a stunning unspoilt south facing location in an area which has been designated as one of "Outstanding Natural Beauty". The Grade II Listed Farmhouse dates back to the 16th century. The cottages were converted from original barns in the 1980s and are spaced around the grounds rather than in a traditional courtyard setting, thereby offering seclusion and privacy. All the cottages enjoy complete peace and tranquillity with glorious views of the Umborne Valley and surrounding countryside. Our World Heritage coastline offers clean beaches and stunning cliffs stretching from Exmouth's 2½ mile sandy beach through Budleigh Salterton to the Regency splendour of Sidmouth, on through Branscombe (National Trust), the quaint fishing village of Beer along to Seaton and historic Lyme Regis in West Dorset. The locality provides something for everyone: Walking, Golf, Swimming/Water Sports, Fishing, Riding, Cycling, Birdwatching, Fossil Hunting and National Trust attractions. Garden Cottage - 1 double bedroom with space for additional bed/cot A spacious cottage with a large lounge/dining room with French windows leading to private patio with garden/valley views, TV/video, fully fitted and well equipped kitchen with washer/dryer, dishwasher and microwave. Upstairs there is a large double bedroom and en-suite bathroom/w.c. with Power Shower. Orchard Cottage - 1 double, 1 bunk bedded room (3' full size) Next to Garden Cottage, the Orchard has a large lounge/dining room with French windows leading to private patio with garden/valley views, TV/video, fully fitted and well equipped kitchen with washer/dryer, dishwasher and microwave. Upstairs there is a double bedroom and en-suite bathroom/w.c. with Power Shower and one bunk bedded room. Meg's Roost - open plan accommodation for 2 Meg's Roost is a spacious and warm cottage with its ceiling open to roof timbers and cross beams. There is a large sitting/dining room with TV/video, fully fitted and well equipped kitchen with dishwasher and microwave and a shower/w.c. The bed is set on a raised dias and is separated from the living area by a wooden balustrade. Private patio. The Lodge - 1 double bedroom, 1 twin bedded room Completely self-contained annexe to the 16th Century farmhouse with period features including flagstone hallway, original beams, inglenook fireplace and woodburning stove in the lounge/dining room. Fully fitted and well equipped kitchen with washer/dryer, dishwasher and microwave, downstairs bathroom/w.c. with Power Shower, TV/video and private patio. There is a wooden spiral staircase. The Lodge is unsuitable for children under the age of 8. Situated adjacent to The Barn and The Granary our extensive play area benefits from a Wendy House, trampoline, play tower, swings and junior goal. Our summer house overlooks the play area and provides stunning views of the surrounding countryside.
