Kerrington House

Kerrington House Hotel has been lovingly and sympathetically restored retaining many period features, such as marble fireplaces and fine plasterwork. Decorated with elegance and style in soft neutral colours the hotel has been furnished with relaxation in mind, with a personal collection of antiques and favourite pieces to suit the mood of individual rooms.

The drawing room which overlooks the garden is spacious, light and airy with comfy sofas and armchairs ideal for relaxing with a pot of tea or an after dinner brandy.

The dining room with antique furniture and crisp white linen is the perfect setting for delicious food. The breakfast menu includes Kedgeree and smoked Haddock as well as the wonderful full Devon breakfast.

With the emphasis on fresh local produce, the dinner menu includes Somerset goats cheese tart, Devonshire beef with a ragout of wild mushrooms. The bedrooms are sumptuously appointed with all the luxuries you would expect, and the beds are really something special.

Set in beautifully landscaped gardens on the outskirts of Axminster, Kerrington House Hotel is only 10 minutes from Lyme Regis and the Dorset heritage coast and is the ideal base for exploring the west Dorset and east Dorset coastline and country villages.
