Kitley House is an oasis of quiet luxury, providing the highest standards in comfort, cuisine and personal service. A sweeping staircase leads up to 19 spacious bedrooms and suites. Each has panoramic views over the estate and is richly appointed with furnishings designed to reflect the traditional elegance of the house while incorporating all modern facilities.
There are 7 deluxe State Rooms on the Ground Floor and First Floors. These rooms are large mini suites in a variety of individual colour schemes and layouts. The State Rooms in particular feature large full height panoramic windows and each has a lounge area. The beds are mostly kingsize with options for Double or Twin occupancy. The sofa's in most rooms also converts into a bed which is particularly suitable for children and can also accommodate adults. Each State Room has an iron and board as a standard and are ensuite with Bath & Shower.
There are 12 Club Rooms on the second floor which feature Family, Double, Twin and Single occupancies. The rooms are of reasonable size and again feature the largest beds suitable for the rooms. Interlocking Rooms suitable for families are available. All rooms are ensuite with Bath & Shower and are non-smoking.
The hotel, positioned in Six Hundred acres of unspoiled pasture and woodland provides a perfect venue for all year around short breaks, holidays and exciting themed breaks including Christmas and New Year Packages, Valentines Supper, Murder Mystery, Musical Events and coming soon, Ghostly Evenings...
Our popular Kitley Stopover, Shortbreak Packages and Special Events Programme are available All Year Round but are subject to availability. We recommend booking as early as possible to get the dates or accommodation required. Our rates change throughout the year and throughout the week with improved rates for longer stays. Road Directions
From Exeter: Follow the A38 towards Plymouth and exit at the first sign for the Yealmpton (A3121) follow road and turn right onto the A379 towards Yealmpton. Drive through Yealmpton, the hotel is on the Left Hand side as you leave the village. Drive through the archway and stay on the drive for almost a mile.
From Plymouth and Cornwall: Follow signs for A379 towards Kingsbridge - entrance on the right hand side between Brixton and Yealmpton.
