This unspoilt traditional farm. “PICKWELL BARTON” nestles in the quiet hamlet of Pickwell. The fields extend down to Putsborough Beach, approx 800m from the cottage. A walk across the fields with breathtaking views, (some of the finest in North Devon) will have you surfing the waves, or just watching the children digging with their buckets and spades and enjoying the sand between their toes. PICKWELL BARN COTTAGE :-Sleeps 2-6 The cottage is situated on the farm surrounded by traditional barns, trees and a large lawn garden, patio with lights and picnic table; here you can use the B.B.Q, enjoy a glass of wine, unwind from your journey, enjoy the peace tranquility and maybe just watch the stars in the evening. The cottage benefits from being approx 800m from the glorious sandy beaches of Putsborough and Woolacombe, North Devon - ideal for surfing or just splashing in the rock pools at Putsborough sands, a great family beach that is safe and fun for all! Upstairs there are two double bedrooms and one twin, pine furniture throughout the bedrooms. The beds will be all made up for you on your arrival so you can sit, relax and enjoy a cup of tea, or maybe a stroll down to the beach at Putsborough or Woolacombe. Walking down two small steps into the lounge with an open fireplace for the cooler winter evenings, and its comfortable sofa and chairs has a T.V, DVD / Video player with a small video library; a CD player, so bring your latest CD's so you can enjoy it on your holiday too! SUNNYSIDE :-Sleeps 2-7 This lovely cosy cottage over looking the beautiful countryside has ample parking beside the cottage. Upstairs there are three double bedrooms. Each room has a double bed and the larger room has an extra single bed and cot. The bathroom has a toilet, washbasin and power shower over the bath. Duvets and pillows are provided guests bring their own bed linen and towels. On the ground floor there is a kitchen with hob, oven, microwave and fridge. Dining room has table and chairs. Cool, walk in larder, washing machine. The lounge has colour TV and open fire for cooler evenings. Altogether there are 4 storage heaters and electric heaters in all other rooms. There is a £1 coin meter for electricity. Downstairs toilet. Our water supply is natural spring water and the cottage has it's own filtration and treatment unit. Small lawn garden with picnic table and chairs. Well behaved dogs are accepted at Sunnyside. Five minutes walk from this cottage across our fields overlooks Putsborough and Woolacombe sandy beach. On a clear evening the sun can be seen setting into the western sky. PICKWELL COURT:-Sleeps 2-8 Converted Barn offering self catering near Woolacombe on the North Devon Coast. Pickwell Court – a beautiful south facing converted barn just 800m (approx) from Putsborough beach on the north Devon coast sleeping 6/8 people, centrally heated and fully double glazed throughout. Situated on a traditional working farm this beautifully spacious barn has been tastefully converted, a family home for the last sixteen years so lots of little extras. Before that it had been used to keep the bullocks warm in the winter. Outside off the court there is an open barn for you to hang your wetsuits, from that leading onto the lawn garden with its mature flower and shrub beds with a back drop of trees all south facing so enjoy the suntrap with the lightness of breeze with your glass of pimms listening to the chorus of birds - just so idyllic and peaceful you'll feel you've found a gem and you will have! Our water supply is natural spring water and the Court has its own filtration and treatment unit. The Court is ideal for 2/8 persons. Sadly we are unable to accept Pets and it is non smoking. Couples, families and friends are all very welcome at this cottage.
