Pillowery Park was designed and built by Chris West in Higher Clovelly during 1999/2000 and is now run as a Bed & Breakfast by him and his wife Sylvia.

Burscott is a quiet no through lane so only the birds singing in the garden and fields will wake you in the morning! The uninterrupted views of the countryside makes Pillowery Park the perfect setting for your stay in North Devon.

Our rooms:
All bedrooms are on the first floor and have tea and coffee making facilities, a colour television and hair dryer. Rooms 1 and 2 also have space for a travel cot [one of which can be provided] however, there is insufficient room for an extra bed for young child.
Room 1 - Double en-suite:
The double en-suite bedroom looks over green fields to the Bristol Channel and Bideford Bay - and South Wales on a good day!
Room 2 - Twin room:
The larger twin room with a separate private shower-room has views across the wooded valleys and fields of North Devon.
Room 3 - Twin room:
A slightly smaller twin room which also enjoys unspoilt countryside views. This room has it’s own separate private shower-room downstairs.
The Dining room:
The dining room can be used during the evening by guests and, if the piano is not being played, there is a television and video player and lots of books.
Other facilities and information:
Ironing facilities are available and Chris is happy for guests to use his PC to check their emails. The house is strictly Non Smoking and has no facilities for pets.

Road Directions
From M5 Jct 27
Take A361 (North Devon Link Road) to Barnstaple. Then take A39 to Bideford and onwards to Bude. Turn right at Clovelly Cross (roundabout and filling station). Continue for 0.25 mile and take 1st right to Burscott, then follow brown tourist sign for B&B. Pillowery Park is 5th house on right. Total journey time from M5 approximately 1 hour.
Public Transport Directions
From Barnstaple Railway Station
Take 319 First Devon Bus to Bideford and Clovelly. Alight the bus at Turnpike Gate Stoop, Higher Clovelly, after Clovelly Cross and before visitor centre carpark. Finger post sign to Burscott brown tourist sign for B&B. Pillowery Park is 5th house on the right.
