Home > Devon Accommodation > Price of Peace Bed & Breakfast
Price of Peace stands 40 yards from the bank of the river Torridge in beautiful and secluded surroundings.
Nestling in the valley one mile from Hatherleigh on the A386 road to Torrington, the Lodge is screened by Pines through which the approach drive runs.
Built by Lord Marchamley in 1930 especially as a fishing lodge, the single storey structure with its interior decor of Oregan Pine makes an instant appeal.
Located just a few hundred yards from the location of the BBC programme "SPRINGWATCH" with Bill Oddie and Kate Humble.
The lodge has been lovingly restored to its former purpose to offer Bed and Breakfast accommodation with one twin room, one double and one twin/super king, all with TV and en-suite facilities, large residents lounge and separate dining room.
Breakfast can also be taken on the veranda in the summer months where you can really appreciate the tranquillity of this wonderful location.
A self catering log cabin shall also be available from June this year.
