Delightful barn conversion in Devon hamlet within Dartmoor National Park, just 3 miles from Buckfast Abbey and A38 Expressway between Exeter and Plymouth. 3 minutes walk from village pub for evening meals. Families and pets welcome. Directly on 2 Moors Way.
We can be found up a quiet country lane in the farming hamlet of Scoriton. Secluded but not isolated within our own grounds consisting of 5 acres of mature gardens, cider orchards and pasture land. There are a few pleasant corners where we hope you will find time to sit, unwind and enjoy the beautiful views of the village. The Tradesmans Arms serves an excellent variety of snacks and evening meals accompanied by real and local ales and fine wines.
All our rooms are ground floor and en-suite. You will have your own keys and entrance, giving you complete privacy and independence.
Breakfast consists of all home grown or locally sourced produce including fresh eggs from our own free range hens, bread - home baked daily and freshly ground coffee/English breakfast tea.
Prices detailed below are per person per night. The Family Room is £25.00 per adult, plus £1.00 for each year of the child's age (e.g. 4 years = £4.00). Discount for 3 adults sharing the family en-suite room. £35 prices shown are for single occupancy only.

From the A38 leave at Dartbridge junction. Follows signs for Buckfast Abbey. With Abbey entrance on the right, go up the hill and turn left at the top following signs for Scoriton and Holne. Go down lanes for 2 miles - see sign for Tradesmans Arms and Scoriton - turn left. In village see letter box and notice board on left and row of white cottages ahead. Turn left in front of white cottages up what looks like a dead end lane and we are 50 yards on left.
By Train to Totnes or Newton Abbot. Bus from there to Buckfastleigh. Take a taxi for the 3 miles to the Barn at Scoriton.
