Tranquil romantic retreat. Complete peace and privacy in beautiful ensuite bedsitting rooms, each with own logfire, private terrace and garden or private conservatory. Streamside setting in hidden valley. Heated pool. National Winner Best in England Excellence awards.

If the romantic setting of a tranquil, private valley, with beautiful en suite garden rooms, log fires and moonlight swims in the heated outdoor pool sets your pulse racing then Tor Cottage is for you. Judging from the comments of previous guests and four National Excellence Awards, you will enjoy this superb retreat from the hurly-burly. The bedrooms are elegant and spacious and fully-equipped and the garden rooms have their own private terrace and garden for your privacy. The cuisine is expertly prepared and as well as the traditional menu we cater for vegetarians and vegans. 'A prefect escape from the real world', as one guest put it.

Swim in the heated outdoor pool (summer) enjoy a supper tray by your own logfire (winter) walk Dartmoor. Visit the coastlines and National Trust properties. Take time out at Tor Cottage.
