Luxury B&B in an idyllic peaceful but convenient setting less than ten minutes from Dartmouth and the magnificent South Devon coastline. All the beautifully furnished rooms share stunning views across a wooded valley towards Start Point lighthouse.

Originally the gamekeeper's lodge for the Oldstone Estate in the 18th century, the whole cottage has now been transformed into a really comfortable and attractive home of great character. Reached down a quiet country lane just off the main Dartmouth road, it is nevertheless very centrally located for easy access to dozens of magnificent coastal and river valley walks, and a large number of historic castles, houses and gardens are well within an hour's drive.

The cottage is on the edge of an ancient Devon village well within walking distance of an excellent gastropub - The Normandy Arms. There is also an excellent selection of other fine eating places within a short drive, both in Dartmouth and the surrounding countryside. Reliable taxis for eating out are easily arranged.

Delicious locally sourced breakfasts are our speciality and guests are usually welcomed on arrival with tea and wonderful home made cakes.
