Princetown

Princetown - the highest town on Dartmoor - is situated in an expanse of high open moorland and is the starting point for many of Dartmoor's guided walks.

Visit Princetown on the Transmoor Link Bus and do a walk from the bus or discover more about Dartmoor's unique landscape, wildlife, history and development - from prehistoric times to the present day, in the High Moorland Visitor Centre. The Dartmoor Prison Museum is also worth a visit.
