Public Transport

By Train:
Devon is well served by trains from all over the country.
First Great Western trains leave London Paddington regularly, and South West Trains start from London Waterloo. Virgin Trains runs frequent services from the Midlands and the North, and Wessex Trains operate within the South West and Wales region. By Coach or by Bus:
Devon is also easily reached by bus or coach, as National Express services arrive from all over the country. TheMegabus service from London to Devon charges as little as £1.

By Air:
Many UK airports have flights to Exeter International Airport including Aberdeen, Belfast, Dublin, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds/Bradford, Manchester, Newcastle, Norwich and the Channel Islands. There are also flights from international airports - major hubs such as Amsterdam and Paris, and regional airports like Alicante, Bergerac, Brest Brittany, Faro, Malaga and Salzburg. All flights are operated by Flybe.

Plymouth City Airport is also well served with flights from London Gatwick, Manchester, Leeds/Bradford, Bristol and Jersey, all operated by Air South West.

By Car:
Devon is easy to reach by road - the M5 has excellent links with other major motorways. If you are travelling from the south and east and prefer a scenic route, you can follow the M25/M3, then the A303/A30. Plan your route using the AA Route Planner.
