Road Directions

From the North and Bristol - follow the M5 to Exeter.

From London, the South and the South East follow the M4 to Bristol or the M3/A303/A30 to Exeter.

From North Devon follow the signs to Exeter.

From Exeter - the M5 becomes the A38 and splits in half doing up Telegraph Hill. Take the left-hand lane (A380) to Newton Abbot and Torquay. Top tip: The road between Newton Abbot and Torquay is often congested. Consider turning off the A380 after Telegraph Hill onto the B3192 for the scenic coastal road through Teignmouth and Shaldon to Torquay avoiding Newton Abbot altogether.

From Cornwall and Plymouth take the A38 and follow the signs to Paignton and then Torquay. Top tip: When you see the first brown tourist sign to Kents Cavern before you get to Paignton, ignore it!. Instead follow road signs to Paignton seafront and then along the coast to Torquay harbour. Start to follow brown sign route when you get to Torquay.
