Okehampton Battle of the Bands 2008

Heat one is on Wednesday 16th July in the Charter Hall, Okehampton.
Doors open 6pm, first band on at 6.30pm sharp.
Entry is free.

There will be a licensed bar and hot food will be available.
Eight bands of various different styles will battle it out for one of two places in the grand final. Bands from all across the southwest will be taking part.

Heat two is on Thursday 24th July featuring 8 more bands, and Heat three with a further 8 bands on Thursday 31st July, same details as above with top two bands from each night making it to the final.

The Grand Final is on Saturday 9th August in Simmons Park, Okehampton. The six finalists will be joined by a special guest band from Liverpool to provide a hugely entertaining night out for all the family – there will be fun fair attractions including bucking bronco, sumo wrestling, bouncy castle, plus Hog Roast, Burger Van etc. Once again entrance is free, park opens at 6pm, first band on 6.30pm sharp. We attracted an audience of over 3000 people of all ages last year
