"Inhale and hold". An endurance event. Four dancing men equipped with a lifeguard's tower and miniature band attempt to perform their way across Devon, north to south, at a long list of waterside locations - lido, riverbank, moat and shore. Your involvement is vital. Join them where you can for the BIG DANCE between 10 and 13 July.

Thanks to support from Devon County Council, Dance in Devon is delighted to commission outstanding, Devon-based dance artist, Sarah Shorten. She is renowned for her creative interpretation of dance in unusual places and spaces and will choreograph a performance specifically celebrating the inspiring Devon landscape.

Demanding great stamina and perseverance, this dance expedition will begin on 10th July, when our four dancing heroes will set off from a North Devon waterside location, yet to be revealed... Will they make it? Will the people of Devon dance along with them to support them in their quest? Join the dancing men at the following sites to track their progress…
