Slightly Fat Features proudly presents: Variety by the Sea - a cabaret extravaganza with magical moments for all the family.

Devons leading family variety show, featuring amazing acts from around the world. Circus skills, live music, comedy and many other weird and wonderful surprises.

Goronwy Thom first performed professionally at the age of four, in a production of Ibsens the Dolls House at the Crucible Theatre, Sheffield. Since then he wanted to be an entertainer of some sort and has in some form done that ever since!

He formed his own comedy duo aged thirteen performing at schools and festivals across the north of England. He ran away to join the circus aged sixteen, although it was Circus Space a training school in London that he ran away to. Whilst there he learnt many physical skills including ballet, clowning, knife throwing and tight-wire amongst others. Also during this time he worked with the world famous Moscow State Circus and regularly as a compere of variety and festival cabarets throughout London and across the UK.

Soon after he started to perform at the most famous street theatre venue in the World: London's Covent Garden, where he can occasionally still be seen. Whilst appearing in front of audiences daily there, he also performed at The Millennium Dome, entertained at Neil Innes' birthday party and co-created a large scale outdoor theatre show for National Street Arts. He then went to study acting at Bretton Hall University, North Yorkshire.

Since then he has continued to work as an actor, comedian, compere and juggler performing in cabarets, circuses, operas and plays, on cruise liners and at corporate events, music and street theatre festivals.

He has appeared as a chef in Dubai, a baker in Bexhill, a comic for Cunard, a fireman in a pop video, a tennis player at the Davis Cup, a teacher for Norwich Union, a stooge for Sky TV, a top turn for Tom Stoppard and a Viking in a BBC film.

He has entertained a wide range of audiences at numerous venues and events across Britain and around the World.
