River Cottage HQ
River Cottage HQ is a beautiful 60 acre organic farm nestled in the Axe Valley in East Devon. Set up by food writer, and broadcaster Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall. River Cottage HQ is an events and course centre which aims to teach our guests about the importance of knowing where your food has come from, whilst enjoying the best local and seasonal ingredients, with superb set menu’s prepared by our team of chefs.
During the day you can learn how to butcher a pig, forage for wild mushrooms, or learn how to build your own clay oven.
In the evening we run a wide variety of events from the simple Friday Night at River Cottage to amazing events such as our Multi Bird Roast.
