Venus Café - Bigbury-on-Sea

The award winning Venus Café at Bigbury on Sea with it’s panoramic views across the golden sands welcomes families, walkers, surfers and nature lovers. Using organic and locally sourced products wherever possible, Venus offers an unrivalled al fresco Mediterranean dining experience in a truly stunning location.

The Venus Café serves a tasty, all day menu – every day. We offer a great choice of delicious homemade food from full meals to drinks and ice cream. Home of the famous children’s meal box – The Dolphin Box – with healthy and organic food and a free marine activity book.

The full menu is available from Easter to mid-September with a reduced winter menu. We also have vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options available on the menu. The Café is also licensed serving wine and beer.

The Venus Café overlooks the stunning Blue Flag beach at Bigbury on Sea with views to Burgh Island. Acres of golden sands at low tide make it an ideal family day out at the seaside. The shallow waters are just right for paddling, the rock pool invite exploring and the sand is perfect for making sandcastles. Surfers and windsurfers, canoeists and boogie boarders love Bigbury on Sea particularly at high tide.
