Local museum featuring exhibits of local maritime interest, shipbuilding, wreck and rescue. Local history in photographs and artefacts.

Salcombe museum was established in 1975. Temporary exhibitions were arranged each summer mainly with items which were loaned. Since 1991 the museum has occupied the ground floor of the former council offices and the collections have expanded to fill the two rooms completely.

Opening times are 10:30 to 12:30 and 14:30 to 16:30 from Easter to October.
