Discover an exciting new world where science and conservation come to life in the ocean experience of a lifetime. Britain's Aquarium has just got even bigger thanks to their brand new three-floor, multi-million pound interactive centre at the National Marine Aquarium, Plymouth.
Explorocean is a new and exciting attraction within the Aquarium, showcasing the very latest in Ocean technology and is full of unique experiences for the whole family to enjoy. From underwater obstacle courses and Remote Operated Vehicle (ROV) Games to virtual sonar tours, latest satellite images from space and 3D deep-sea journeys, there's something fun for everyone.
The fun doesn't end there as the remaining Aquarium has over 3,000 fish to be discovered. In over 50 tanks, the biggest being the height of a three-storey building, lives 11 species of sharks and 200 species of marine life, all waiting to introduce themselves to you and help you to experience the thrill of discovery.
Go and meet their impressive sand tiger sharks, gaze in wonder at one of the largest collections of seahorse species in Britain and watch these shy and delicate creatures perform a magical underwater ballet as they dance before your eyes.

The National Marine Aquarium is located in the Coxside area of Plymouth.
Follow the brown and white fish signs, which can be found on all entry roads into the city. The recommended route is the A38 to Marsh Mills (Sainsbury's) then along the A374 Embankment Road. The route for the Aquarium and Barbican Car Park (main parking for the Aquarium) is signposted from here.
There are regular trains to Plymouth Station which is only a short distance from the National Marine Aquarium.
If you are travelling to the Aquarium by coach, drop off and pick up points and limited free coach parking are available. In addition overflow coach parking is available at Brentonside Bus Station, Plymouth.
