Meldon Reservoir

Surrounded by open moorland, Meldon is a breathtaking reservoir lake 9000 feet above sea level teeming with native wildlife; befriend one of the fishermen sat on the steep banks and you may glimpse a brown trout! After the vast wilderness of the moor this is the perfect place to settle for lunch or stroll around the reservoir.
