The Milky Way Adventure Park is a day in the country that's out of this world. With 5 major rides and 6 live shows it's a must for all ages, whatever the weather. With a great mix of fun, rides, education and live shows there really is something for the whole family!
The Cosmic Typhoon, new in 2007 is Devon’s biggest, fastest and longest roller coaster...come and ride if you dare! In 2008 there's also a fantastic new ride on the way for our younger adventurers, the Big Apple children’s roller coaster...ride the caterpillar as it eats it’s way around the dips and curves of the Big Apple track. For our bravest adventurers there's the Clone Zone, an interactive dark ride where you explore a crash landed spaceship before taking a trip on the suspended roller coaster...but watch out for aliens!!
One of our most popular rides is the Droid Destroyer Dodgems, bumping good fun for all the family! When you fancy a change of pace take a leisurely trip on the Milky Way Railway, where you'll enjoy fantastic views of the whole of Bideford Bay - on a good day you can even see Wales.
Our incredible live shows include twice daily displays from the North Devon Bird of Prey Centre (indoor and outdoors). Be amazed as you watch falcons climb to heights of up to 2,000ft, or just sit back and marvel at the unbelievably cute and graceful owls.
Our fun ferret shows feature the worlds one and only flying ferret, you've simply got to see it to believe it! You can also feed the baby animals in the twice daily pets corner shows and, if you're lucky you may even get to see a baby chick hatching from its egg.
There's a wild time to be had in one of the areas biggest indoor adventure play areas with assault courses and slides built for adults as well as children! If you fancy even more action why not challenge the kids at archery, laser target shooting or golf driving in sports centre.
There's so much to see and do and ALL THE RIDES ARE FREE!
Your adventure awaits...are you ready?
