This is a series of eight spectacular caves that twist underground along narrow passages and open out into underground pockets of geological marvel. These caves aren't for amateurs though, so if you are interested but aren't ready for the underground experience head to the Pengelly Trust Museum that has loads of pictures and information about these special caves, and the new species of amphipod (a very small shrimp) that has no eyes- it has only been found in these caves!
Facilities: Admission Charge, Disabled Access, Information Boards, Visitor Centre,
Access: Disabled access to museum only. Bus route available to the town centre. Cycle and walking routes not available.
