Winner of National Farm Attraction of the Year, Pennywell Farm near Buckfastleigh treats the whole family to a great value, action packed day out. There are up to 20 hands on activities, shows and displays throughout the day, all included in the admission price. The Pennywell team guarantee that you won’t waste a single moment.

There’s something new every half hour – listen for the bell! Also included in the admission are the Pennywell Young Farmers Quad Bikes, the Run Rabbit Ride Go Karts and a ride for all the family on the Rainbow Railway.

You can bottle feed the hungry lambs, hand feed the Pennywell deer, give the cheerful hedgehogs and hoglets their tea or dip into the Pennywell ponds which are teaming with life. Where else can you be a guest at a tortoise tea party? Pennywell is also the home of the now world famous, Pennywell Miniature Piglets.

Pennywell’s Shire horses, Boxer and Fusilier, the gentle giants of the farmyard are waiting to meet you as are Dancer and Prancer the reindeer, all the way from the North Pole. Pennywell is also the home of the world famous Pennywell miniature piglets who are always ready for a cuddle. In fact, all the Pennywell animals love to be cuddled - come and find your favourite!

New for 2007 is the Willow Maze. Weave your way through the web of wonderful willow and discover the watchtower with its stunning views. It’s the only Spiders Web Maze in the UK made entirely from willow.

All our visitors tell us that they love to meet all the animals, so this year there are even more animals than ever before in the New Animal Barn. Come and make some new friends by visiting the animals in their band new home.

National qualifier Sheep Dog Trials take place on 1st August 2007 with regular working displays throughout the season. Falconry displays will also be a regular feature with Pennywell being one of the few places in the whole country where you can watch breathtaking free flying eagle displays.

Henny Penny’s Licensed Café offers a delicious range of meals, Devonshire cream teas and tempting cakes or if you want to eat and run, there’s Piglets Takeaway. Mum and dad can take a breather in the Coffee Cabin – a real oasis of calm - while the youngsters can burn of some energy on the assault course or trampolines, play in the undercover play area or miniature farmyard.

Children can enjoy a safe ride on a pony or donkey ride (height restrictions apply) and make some new pony pals.
