Exhibits include a 16thC cannon and artefacts from local wreck and local history. Cannon dating from c1877 from sunken ship 'Peronne', number one in the conversion rating. Lord Exmouth exhibition. Haldon Aerodrome exhibition and exhibition of medical services in Teignmouth. Exhibition of "ball clay. New this year "Bedpans and Bandages", special "exhibition to mark 50 years since Teignmouth Hospital first "opened (first hospital to be completed under the NHS)."

Teignmouth and Shaldon Museum is open on Easter Saturday and Easter Monday, and then from May 1st to mid-October. Monday to Saturday 10 a.m. to 4.30 p.m and Sundays 2 to 4.30 p.m on School holidays only.

Adults: £2.00 Escorted children: free

During the winter months the Museum is closed. All research and reference enquiries requiring access to the Museum are by appointment only. Other research enquiries by mail only, and these should be addressed to either the Hon. Curator or the Hon. Archivist. A donation for any research undertaken will be greatly appreciated.

Nearest station is Teignmouth station. The museum is opposite the station. There are frequent buses and trains to Teignmouth. Once in Teignmouth the Museum is easy to find.
