Vineyard, winery and cafe winebar just off the A396 at Bickleigh.
Yearlstone's terrace cafe has magical views down the Exe Valley over the River Exe - and over the three hectares of vines.
Self guided tours are possible at anytime - guided tours twice weekly in the summer. Groups of between 12&25 can book evening talks, tours and tastings followed by a buffet.
Yearlstone is now one of England's premier winemaking centres - with one of the country's best equipped modern wineries. Its whites, rose and sparkling wines have won many competition awards from Masters of Wine.
Planted in 1976, Yearlstone has been a focal point of the revival of vinegrowing in Devon - and is a key member of the Devon Wine Trail and Devon Wine Week celebrations each year.
Success at the 2008 English & Welsh Wine of the Year awards: YEARLSTONE-made wines won 8 out of 50 medals ( bronze & Silver ) for wines made from the 2007 vintage. Our top scoring wines were:

All wines entered got an award! A quick analysis shows that of 20 Silvers awarded for wines of the 2007 vintage we won two. From 30 bronzes awarded for 2007 wines Yearlstone made 6.
YEARLSTONE IN TOP FIVE ENGLISH VINEYARDS:
The latest competition results from the South West & Wales Wine of the Year held at Three Choirs vineyard in Newent confirm that Bickleigh's Yearlstone Vineyard - recently named Fastest Improving Vineyard in England - has moved into England's Top Five.
There are now according to the Wine Standards Board well over 400 vineyards in England & Wales.
At the regional competiton Yearlstone winemaker Juliet White won 9 out of 89 awards, - including two for the vineyard's celebrated sparkling wine - Vintage Brut and Vintage Brut rose.
The results of the 2008 competitions, both regional and national* show Yearlstone catching up on the much larger vineyards Chapel Down and Denbies...Chapel Down as English Wines PLC is now a stockmarket listed company producing close to a million bottles a year.

Find us on the A396 between Tiverton and Bickleigh - look out for the brown tourist signs.
Leave the M5 at Junction 27 - into Tiverton. Then follow the signs for the A396 Bickleigh/Exeter - or the brown signs for the Devonshire Centre (now defunct but useful as a guide!).
