Home / Trade Section / Discover Devon Microsite Information - FREE OPPORTUNITY
In February 2007 we launched our new-look design for www.discoverdevon.com. Since then, we have been working on a number of themed micro-sites to complement the main website, and to target specific visitor markets. These micro-sites provide Discover Devon members with a unique opportunity to target visitors with specific interests, allowing them to tailor their description to appeal to a particular audience.
PLEASE NOTE: Your business can only appear on these sites if you are a member of Discover Devon. If you would like to join Discover Devon, please email discoverdevon@devon.gov.uk, and we will send you more information.
Please use the following link to download a PDF version of this information on the Discover Devon microsites
Naturally Devon (www.naturallydevon.com) - Green accredited accommodation, activities and days out. This website has information for those interested in 'leaving a smaller footprint' whilst on holiday.
If you are a green accredited business this is an opportunity for you to shout about it and describe what you are doing towards making Devon a green holiday destination. If you are a food and drink business this is an ideal opportunity for you too, increasingly visitors are looking for Devon food and drink whilst on holiday.
How do I appear on Naturally Devon?
You will need to have won an award to prove that you are environmentally friendly, such as a Green Tourism Business Scheme, David Bellamy Award, Taste of the West, etc. Alternatively, you will need to be an attraction or activity that is 'green' such as a cycle hire provider, a woodland attraction, a great fishing location, etc. To find out more, please email discoverdevon@devon.gov.uk
It is also advisable for you to provide a description that helps promote the green elements of your establishment, highlighting which green awards you have won and why, how you are great for visitors who wish to get out their car and explore Devon on foot, bike or horse, how you provide local food and drink for your visitors, etc...
Family Devon (www.familydevon.com) - Family friendly accommodation, activities, attractions, places to eat and events. This website is full of great holiday ideas for the whole family.
If you offer family friendly accommodation, days out or eating this is an opportunity to target an important market with specific information essential to mums and dads.

Active Devon (www.activedevon.com) - Walking, cycling, watersports, horse riding, fishing, golf, etc. This website has information for people who are interested in active holidays.
