Discover Devon opportunities
In February 2007 we launched our new-look design for Discover Devon. Since then, we have been working on a number of themed micro-sites to complement the main website, and to target specific visitor markets. These micro-sites provide you with a unique opportunity to target visitors with specific interests, allowing you to tailor your description to appeal to a particular audience. Please use the following link for more information on the new Discover Devon microsites and how your business could appear.

The new development also provides other free opportunities for your business, including an easy way to let visitors to your website know whats nearby, and the opportuntity for additional external links.

Green Tourism Business Scheme accreditation
The GTBS accreditation scheme is for tourism businesses and is based on improving environmental best practice. It has been recognised as providing practical environmental measures to enable businesses to reduce their environmental impact, improve the management of any resources they use, such as energy and water, and increase their marketing potential for a marketplace with an ever-growing environmental conscience. There are also commercial benefits to reap in the form of reduced energy bills (up to 30%), an enchanced image and the marketing advantage - this starts with a free entry on www.discoverdevon.com and our tailored green holiday site www.naturallydevon.com.

If you would like further information on the GTBS scheme please visit their website at www.green-business.co.uk.
