Living History - with such a rich heritage its not surprising that there are an abundance of heritage centres, events, exhibitions and attractions bringing to life Devon's history, such as Morewellham Quay near Tavistock or Coldharbour Mill near Cullompton.
Historic Houses - the Devon landscape is studded with magnificent examples of historic houses and gardens. From the National Trust's Coleton Fishacre created by the D'Oyly Carte family of Gilbert and Sullivan fame to the Victorian Gothic mansion of Knightshayes Court.
