North Devon and Exmoor
If it's thrills and spills you are after, there's nothing that will beat the immense buzz and adrenalin rush of surfing. With hundreds of miles of footpaths and designated cycle tracks, including the fabled Tarka Trail, North Devon and Exmoor is the perfect place for rambling and cycling, whilst horse lovers can canter along the beach or around the deep Devon lanes.

South Devon
South Devon has a hugely diverse range of walking opportunities from stunning coastal paths to challenging moorland walks. There's plenty of opportunity to try all types of watersports in South Devon, including sailing, canoeing, windsurfing, water-skiing, diving and fishing. Exeter and the Heart of Devon
Searching for the ultimate adrenaline rush, or simply want to try your hand at something new? Coastal activities range from swimming, sailing, windsurfing and fishing, to wreck diving, kite surfing, jet skiing and fossil hunting. Inland have a go at canoeing, bird watching, fly-fishing, or exploring one of the excellent walking trails. Alternatively, why not step up the action with a parachute jump, skydive or a trip in a glider over the patchwork landscape of the Blackdown Hills?

For the golf enthusiast the English Riviera has many of the country's finest courses within an hour's drive with a challenge for every level.
