Planning your next trip to Devon could not be easier - choosing accommodation, places to visit, events and more to build your own holiday or business trip. For more information on how to create and manage an itinerary, please read the guidelines below.

Getting Started - How to create an Online Itinerary.

• Search through each section of our database from Places to Stay, Things to Do, Events or one of the themed section on the right hand side, and once you find an establishment or event that catches your eye, click on the “ Add to Itinerary” button to place your choices on the itinerary.
• If you would like to see what you have chosen so far, click on the Itinerary logo, and then click on 'View Current Itinerary' at any time to see what you have chosen so far or change your mind and delete an item.
• When you are happy with your selection, scroll to the bottom of your list, type in an Itinerary Name, a password and your own email address. Then click Save Itinerary. Your email address is necessary to identify your message if you email a copy to a friend(s). (Not sure if it actually says “Save Itinerary” on ours)

Once the itinerary is saved, you can add a message in the comment box - such as "Can you let me know which one of these you would prefer to stay in / visit?"

• Type in your name and click 'Add Comment'

Click 'Print' to print off a copy or click 'Email this itinerary to a friend' and enter the appropriate email address when prompted to send off a copy.

Your friend will receive an email containing a link to Discover Devon and the Itinerary Planner, with the Itinerary Name and password. The itinerary can be modified by each recipient and emailed back to you with additional comments or sent on to another colleague.
