How can I make green holiday choices?
Take the train and come and visit. If you cannot then make sure you leave your car unused for at least ONE day on your holiday. You may discover so much more beyond the windscreen. So stay at an environmentally friendly place, visit attractions that are environmentally friendly by public transport or on bike or on foot, eat local food, turn down and switch off all the appliance you use. Keep an eye out for places to stay, visit, eat and shop that have won awards for their efforts to support their local area and look after the environment.
